We are a community of nomad farmers, chefs, engineers and artists striving for more autonomy in daily life. We turned 11 shipping containers and two greenhouses into a space to meet, grow, eat and collaborate. We have just one question on our minds...
CAN WE BE OFF THE GRID?
Decentralised, autonomous, integrated solutions for the big challenges of our generation and the ones to follow. Get to know our mobile garden, self-sufficient greenhouses and resiliency activities to make the neighbourhood more future proof!
Join us in the political cafe!
We have a real "think tank" on social change! Twice per month we organise a (because of corona virtual) meetup: a political cafe, a book club or a discussion with a guest speaker. We discuss literature that should help us advance in consuming less, and producing more for the local community.
We are starting a new project within our project… a bike kitchen! The goal is to provide a free and inclusive space for people to fix their bike, or learn to fix their bike before problems happen. What we need: Volunteers with a passion for community projects and a very proficient knowledge of bike mechanics - simply put: you can fix almost all 'basic' problems on any standard bike, above and beyond just changing a flat (e.g. building up brakes and gears systems, disassembling and fixing the crank, truing wheels)? And You are interested in empowering other people by sharing and teaching this skill with other ? You are interested in being part of setting up this project for the neighborhood. Contact us.
