What is the job? Our goal is to coordinate and foster philosophical dialogues. We believe we can best facilitate these discussions by sharing some prepared material (i.e. YouTube videos, online articles, etc.) and questions or prompts with attendees. Just these simple ingredients can drive lively conversations. In order to make this happen, we are looking for passionate and self-motivated volunteers that would like to lead their own research, motivated by their ideas and questions about the world, and want to create a robust discussions that focus more on asking the deeper questions (i.e. The How and Why of why things are this way?) rather than focusing on finding solutions and answers to the world's struggles. Our discussions typically align in some form to aspects of climate change, political philosophy, moral philosophy. You would be either be developing a particular topic or subject of your own interests and pursuits OR support one of the other coordinators in researching a particular topic. We work in teams!
