Do you have some organisational experience and some basic knowledge of bikes? This role will required coordination skills and your own creative initiative to lead bike projects. For this position it's not important to have advanced or expert-level bike knowledge. A true interest in bikes and motivation to learn about them is enough! Main function will be to oversee the scheduling and management of bike kitchen activities and coordinating attendees at de Kaskantine. 2. Bike Mechanic Tinkerers:
Do you have passion and proficient knowledge of bike mechanics? If you can fix almost all 'basic' problems on any standard bike, above and beyond just changing a flat (e.g. building up brakes and gears systems, disassembling and fixing the crank, truing wheels). We are looking for someone that has passion and proficient knowledge of bike mechanics. Main function will be to lead workshops, train/support other volunteers and attendees in repairing their bikes and also possibly to collaborate with the Bike Kitchen Coordinator on future projects and ideas.
When: Tuesdays, 17.00-20.00 at de Kaskantine
Both of these roles require weekly in-person time at de Kaskantine, so please note there is limited/no online work involved.
