Are you passionate about protecting the environment and promoting sustainability? Do you want to make a positive impact in your community? Then consider joining our Green Team as a volunteer!
The Green Team is a group of dedicated volunteers who work together to address environmental issues and promote sustainability. The team is divided into several sub-teams, each focused on specific initiatives such as urban gardening, rescuing and redistributing surplus food, implementing composting systems, upcycling waste, and installing solar systems. Additionally, the team also organizes climate and philosophical discussions. By volunteering and dedicating yourself to one of the specific topics mentioned above, you will gain new skills, connect with like-minded individuals, and make a meaningful difference in your community.
Commitment
To join our team, we ask for a commitment of one year, typically starting in March or April and lasting until the start of winter. Our volunteer teams require a commitment of 4 hours every 2 weeks. For most roles in the Green team, no prior experience is necessary, as you will learn everything you need during your time volunteering. So if you want to make a difference, learn new skills, and have some fun while doing it, we'd love to have you join our team.

Food Waste Driver with Electric Bakfiets

Overview:
In this role, you will pick up food waste from local shops and businesses that would otherwise be discarded. You will work with other volunteers to ensure that all food is collected and delivered safely. Solar Volunteer

Overview:
In this role, you will assist with the operation and maintenance of our off-grid solar project, and you will have the opportunity to learn about renewable energy and the challenges of off-grid system. Commitment: Fridays, every 2 weeks Workday: Friday, every 2 weeks, from 08:30-max 12:00 Important Info: A basic understanding of electricity is required. |
