Prepaid public events and courses​

1. Reservation policy

• All registrations are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
• Upon successful registration, attendees will receive a confirmation email with course details.

2. Cancellation policy

• Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to info[at]kaskantine.nl
• If you cancel between 15 and 2 days prior to the event, you will receive a 50% refund of the event price, minus 10% administration costs.
• If you cancel more than 15 days prior to the event, you will receive a full refund minus 10% administration costs.
• No refunds will be issued for participants who do not attend the workshop without prior notification.
• In the rare event that we must cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., low enrollment, instructor unavailability, or unexpected events), enrolled participants will receive a full refund without any deductions.

3. Refund process

• Refunds will be processed within one week from the date of cancellation.
• The refunded amount will be issued via the original payment method used during registration.

​Private events

1. Reservation policy

• Once a reservation is made, we will hold the date for up to 30 days to finalize details and confirm the booking.

2. Booking confirmation

• Pricing is based on a per-person rate.
• A detailed price offer will be provided at least 10 days before the event.
• No deposit is required to confirm the booking.

3. Cancellation policy

• If the client cancels the booking less than 20 days prior to the event, 30% of the price offer will be charged.
• If the event is cancelled by Kaskantine due to force majeure (e.g., severe weather, government restrictions), no charges will be made.

4. Changes to bookings

• Minor changes to the number of participants or dietary preferences can be made up to 48 hours before the event.
• Significant changes, such as a large increase in participants, may affect availability and result in adjusted pricing.

5. Billing

• An invoice will be sent within a few days after the event.
• Payment is due within 20 days of the invoice date.

Off-Grid Venue Considerations

• Our venue operates off-grid and does not provide heavy electricity or high-tech facilities.
• Examples of what to plan for:
  • Use battery-operated devices or printed materials for presentations.
  • Dress appropriately for outdoor conditions (e.g., rain or shine).
• Due to the weather conditions the precise location of the event can be slightly adapted

​Compost club 

• If you want to cancel your membership it should be done at least 7 days before the next membership period per email to info[at]kaskantine.nl
• After giving back the Bokashi bin, the deposit will be repaid within 7 days.

​Right to Amend:

​The Kaskantine reserves the right to modify or amend this policy at its discretion. Any changes will be communicated to registered participants via email and updated on our website.

Participants registering for our events and workshops or courses acknowledge and agree to adhere to this updated refund and cancellation policy.
