Members receive a special airtight container, a Bokashi bin, for storing their food scraps at home. This allows to collect and separate waste without worrying about decomposition or rot.
When the bin is full, or when you want to empty it, you can bring it to our compost house which is accessible 24/7, and swap it with a clean bin. There's no fuss or mess, just a continuous cycle of waste conversion. Join our initiative to prevent food scraps from being incinerated, contribute to climate solutions, and maintain a fresh, clean kitchen by becoming a member. |
The Food Rescue Market (De Voedselkringloop) runs each Friday. Focusing on rescuing fruits, veggies, bread, and dry goods, our Food Savers collect surplus from partners.
Sorted and distributed at our open-to-all market, it operates from 18:00 until food runs out. We use a lottery system for distribution. Please note, we can't predict food quantity or attendees. Check this link every Friday to see what's available or any special announcements. |
Discover our gardening workshops, dedicated to urban gardening and food cultivation. Our focus lies in addressing urban space limitations by teaching participants how to grow food in pots and soil.
Emphasizing sustainability, our workshops guide individuals in cultivating vegetables and herbs in small spaces, adapting to changing climates. Tailored to the season, we show what can be grown at any given time. Explore our upcoming events on our dedicated event page for more information and registration details. |
Our spring vegetable seedling sale is scheduled for May. All plants are grown from organic seeds in peat-free soil.
Our selection features tomatoes, chillies, courgettes, pumpkins, cabbages, chard, and other plants ideal for small spaces, balconies, or containers. Please note that our seedling availability is limited and depends on the onset of the growing season. We'll post timely updates before the big day! |

Navigating climate topics can sometimes be overwhelming, which is why we've created these climate meetups. They are open for anyone interested in learning about and discussing impactful, yet simple, climate solutions.
We integrate various meetup forms, from Climate Book Club to discussion evenings on Climate Philosophy and practical solutions. This year, we will focus on solutions proposed by Project Drawdown, using them as a guideline. We'll concentrate on solutions that can be implemented at a community level and initiated by individuals. |
The Climate-Friendly Kitchen Garden Course offers practical, hands-on skills in urban gardening, cooking, composting, and basic building skills.
